The Louis Vuitton America's Cup World Series continues this weekend in Toulon, France.
It is an exciting time for the sport; sailing returns to the Mediterranean and America's Cup sailors are back following a successful summer at the Rio Olympics. Giles Scott (Land Rover BAR) took gold in the Finn Class and Peter Burling and Blair Tuke (Emirates Team New Zealand) gold, ahead of silver medalists Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jensen (Artemis Racing) in the 49er class. The sailors all missed the regatta in Portsmouth and will be looking to continue their successful summer in the south of France.
Practice racing kicks off on Friday 9 September, with three official races held on Saturday and Sunday from 2.30pm local time.
