STEPHEN HAWKING
Space has always represented more than distance. It is the measure of human ambition. The place where our understanding is tested against the unknown.
For decades, Professor Stephen Hawking pushed that understanding further than anyone thought possible. His work on black holes transformed the way we see the universe, revealing that even the darkest objects in existence are not silent, but alive with energy, mystery and possibility.
His theories changed modern physics. But more than that, they challenged us to keep questioning. To keep exploring. To never stop looking beyond the horizon of what is known. That spirit is deeply aligned with Bremont. Read the story.
A PART OF HISTORY
Built on engineering resilience, precision and endurance, Bremont has always created tool watches for those who go further. From the depths of the ocean to the edge of space itself. Because progress has never belonged to those who stay still. Discover more through Mission Control.
The Bremont Supernova Stephen Hawking Limited Edition is inspired by the science that reshaped our understanding of the cosmos. A watch informed by discovery, designed with purpose, and built to endure in the harshest environments imaginable. A tribute to one of the greatest scientific minds of our age and to the relentless pursuit of what lies beyond.
DARKNESS BY DESIGN
Inspired by the darkness of black holes, the design embraces an all black aesthetic throughout and crafted from ultra black DLC-treated 904L Stainless Steel. Every component, from the case and bezel to the crown and pushers has been engineered in black, while sharp lines and geometric
surfaces create a bold, technical appearance. The result is a striking monochromatic timepiece that captures the depth and mystery of deep space.
REAL METEORITE
The sub dials are made from real meteorite. Each piece carries its own natural pattern, so no two dials are ever quite the same. Set at 3 and 9 o clock, their naturally occurring crystalline patterns create the impression of distant planets suspended against the dark dial, adding depth, texture, and a direct connection to the cosmos.
SOLAR ARRAY
The dial draws its geometry from spacecraft solar arrays and solar sail panels. An interlocking black galvanic perforated grid with triangular pathways leads the eye toward the centre, while rhomboidal Black Gold hands complete a layout that is both technically intricate and immediately legible.
THE EQUATION
Printed on the dial is the black hole entropy equation, a tribute to Stephen Hawking s pioneering exploration of the universe's greatest mysteries. This landmark discovery changed our perception of black holes, revealing that even the darkest forces in the cosmos contain extraordinary depth and complexity.
THE ENGINE ROOM
The chronometer rated BC77 movement runs at 28,800 beats per hour and holds 62 hours of power reserve. Turn the watch over, and a black hole motif frames the exhibition case back, putting the movement on full display.
