After the Terra Nova Jumping Hour design was recognised as WatchPro UK’s Trend Watch of the Year 2025, it returns with a sharper, more contemporary edge in full black DLC. Crafted from 904L stainless steel and finished with a durable diamond-like carbon coating, our Stealth Black edition carries forward the same mechanical rarity, historic inspiration, and uncompromising build quality.
Bund Strap Option
Available with a black leather bund strap, the Terra Nova 38 Jumping Hour draws on early military and aviation watches, where bund straps were used to protect the wrist from extreme temperatures. Comfortable and purposeful on the wrist, it can also be removed to reveal a more traditional black calf leather strap beneath.
Jumping Hour Complication
At the heart of the watch is the exclusive BC634 Jumping Hour movement. This high-torque calibre delivers precise hour changes in under a tenth of a second, displayed through crisp, stacked apertures in the montre à guichet style.
Montre à Guichet
A French term that translates to "watch with a window" in English. This rare complication, known for its clean, minimalist dial layout, is reimagined with a military-inspired aesthetic and crafted in DLC coated 904L steel for exceptional strength and corrosion resistance. The result is a striking fusion of vintage charm and horological innovation.
Military Design
The 38mm case draws from the geometry of trench watches, refined into a cushion-shaped form with a low profile and shortened lugs for all-day wear. The vertically brushed DLC coated 904L stainless steel montre à guichet surface contrasts elegantly with the polished bezel and case accents.
