Proudly made in the UK
Great Britain has a wonderful history when it comes to watch making and has probably been the home to more advances in horology than any other nation. Bremont is determined to play a pivotal role in the reinvigoration of this industry on British shores and as a result, Bremont manufactures parts at its Parts Manufacturing Facility and every Bremont is hand-built and tested before leaving the Henley-on-Thames workshop.
Description
Created in celebration of the life and work of Professor Stephen Hawking, the Supernova Hawking Limited Edition is the second collaboration between Bremont and the Hawking family, and the first Wayfinder Hawking design within the contemporary, space-inspired Supernova collection. Inspired by Hawking's pioneering research into black holes, it is a timepiece informed by discovery, designed with purpose and built to endure.
Crafted in a 41mm ultra black DLC-treated 904L stainless steel case, the Supernova Hawking embodies the advanced engineering and uncompromising construction that define the Supernova collection. Its highly technical, geometric aesthetic is inspired by modern spacecraft engineering, while the complex sandwich-style construction echoes Bremont's signature Trip-Tick® case design. A multi-faceted decahedral black ceramic bezel, angular case architecture and layered surfaces evoke the depth and mystery of black holes, reinforcing the watch's conceptual foundation.
The intricate dial draws inspiration from spacecraft solar arrays, featuring an interlocking galvanic black grid design with triangular pathways that draw the eye inward. Genuine meteorite sub-dials at 3 and 9 o'clock reinforce its connection to deep space, while Stephen Hawking's name appears alongside his black hole temperature equation at 6 o'clock, paying tribute to one of his most groundbreaking scientific achievements. Triangular applied indexes filled with white Super-LumiNova® (blue emission) and rhomboidal black gold hands ensure exceptional legibility while maintaining the bold architectural design language.
Powering the watch is the chronometer-rated BC77 automatic movement, delivering exceptional precision alongside a 62-hour power reserve. Turning the watch over reveals a striking exhibition case back featuring a swirling black hole motif, through which the decorated rotor and movement can be admired, offering an artistic interpretation of the phenomenon that inspired the watch.
Available on a black rubber strap equipped with a quick-release mechanism for effortless interchangeability, the Supernova Hawking offers exceptional comfort and versatility while complementing its bold, contemporary design. A tribute to one of the most influential theoretical physicists in history, it celebrates scientific discovery while continuing Bremont's pursuit of precision, endurance and exploration, honouring a legacy that forever changed our understanding of the universe.

Honouring a Scientific Legacy
A complex multi-part case in 904L stainless steel, combining brushed and polished surfaces with a DLC-coated centre, engineered for strength, durability and refined wearability.
The Black Hole Within
Visible through the exhibition case back, the automatic movement is framed by a black hole-inspired graphic. A subtle tribute to Professor Stephen Hawking's pioneering work.
Exceptional Legibility
Triangular applied indexes filled with white Super-LumiNova® emit a vivid blue glow in low-light conditions, while rhomboidal black gold hands provide exceptional legibility without compromising the watch's bold geometric design.
Genuine Meteorite Sub-Dials
Crafted from genuine meteorite, the chronograph sub-dials at 3 and 9 o'clock reinforce the watch's connection to deep space. Every meteorite is naturally unique, meaning no two dials share exactly the same crystalline structure or pattern.
A New Geometry
The multi-faceted decahedral black ceramic bezel defines the Supernova's bold architectural silhouette. Inspired by spacecraft engineering and the way light bends around black holes, its faceted surfaces create a striking interplay of light, shadow and depth.
CONTROLLED ILLUMINATION
LOW LIGHT CLARITY
Applied indexes and hands, filled with Super-LumiNova® (blue emission), interact with the dial’s three-dimensional structure to maintain clarity as light diminishes.
