Proudly made in the UK
Great Britain has a wonderful history when it comes to watch making and has probably been the home to more advances in horology than any other nation. Bremont is determined to play a pivotal role in the reinvigoration of this industry on British shores and as a result, Bremont manufactures parts at its Parts Manufacturing Facility and every Bremont is hand-build and tested before leaving the Henley-on-Thames workshop.
Description
The Terra Nova Henley Royal Regatta Chronograph celebrates Bremont's partnership as Official Timing Partner of Henley Royal Regatta, one of the world's most prestigious rowing events. Limited to 150 pieces, the watch pays tribute to the official colours and sporting heritage of the Regatta through a purposeful chronograph designed for precision timing on and off the river.
Crafted from lustrous 904L steel, the 42.5mm case is complemented by a royal blue ceramic stroke counter bezel and a crisp white dial. Crossed oars at 12 o'clock and a dedicated stroke counter allow the wearer to measure stroke rate and cadence during racing or training, operated via the chronograph pusher. Long associated with regatta timing, the function reflects the precision and sporting heritage of competitive rowing.
Legibility remains paramount throughout the design. Navy applied numerals, indexes and a detailed minute track are enhanced with next generation Super-LumiNova® for visibility in all conditions. Navy blue sub-dials contrast elegantly against the white dial, while polished rhodium-plated hands feature Super-LumiNova® infill. The striking deckchair green chronograph hand takes inspiration from the iconic Henley Royal Regatta deckchairs that line the riverbank of the Stewards' Enclosure.
The Henley Royal Regatta logo sits proudly above the date window at 6 o'clock, while for the first time 'Henley-on-Thames' appears on the dial in tribute to the town's rich rowing heritage and the home of Bremont's manufacture, The Wing.
Powered by the BC77 automatic chronograph movement with a 62-hour power reserve, the Terra Nova Henley Royal Regatta Chronograph combines purposeful functionality with refined sporting character. Water resistant to 100 metres, it is fitted to a 904L steel Terra Nova bracelet.
